Boundary Data - Census Tracts (CTs)

DigiMap provides the full range of census boundary files for Canada. These files are based on updated 2001 data from Statistics Canada and are provided in the MapInfo format.

Census tracts are small urban neighbourhood-like or rural community-like areas established in large urban-centred regions. These boundaries contain an approximate average of 4,000 persons, and are as homogenous as possible in terms of the economic status and social living conditions.
